Zeev Suraski – CTO of Zend Technologies – Co-Creator of PHP @ Bargento 3 in Paris (France) 2009-11-09

Zeev Suraski, Co-Creator of PHP and CTO of Zend Technologies, was the guest of « Bargento 3 » in Paris yesterday. Zend and Varien Partner are about to deliver an All-In-One PHP and eCommerce Solution around Magento solution and it was the perfect place for spreading the news.

Zeev explained that the PHP 6 development process has been a slow one, while responding during a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. This major upgrade to the popular open source dynamic language for Web applications, will feature internationalization capabilities via Unicode support. The difficulty of this improvement explains that there is no set date for release of PHP 6 right now.
